Ock Street Band are an Abingdon based band who formed in 2014. They can be heard playing at local festivals, music venues and also for private parties. They have an acoustic sound - a little bit folk, a little bit country - with great harmonies, playing both original songs and covers.
Ben Nielsen - guitar, bass guitar & vocals
Kay Davies -
ukuleles (soprano, 8 string tenor, baritone & bass), mandolin, tin whistle, treble recorder and vocals.
Jay Elliott - keyboard and backing vocals
Howard Wood - cajon and percussion
Ben and Kay play as a duo, with Jay and Howard completing the line up at events needing a bigger band sound.

​As well as their original songs, the band play what makes them smile with a wide variety of genres including Soul, Country, Pop, Folk and include artists like Eric Clapton, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Rag'n' Bone Man, The Eagles, James Taylor, Train, Amy McDonald, Janis Joplin and Dolly Parton.
